It was a typical evening rounds by the Principal together with the coordinator of the science department, they were up in the fourth floor checking out the relatively peaceful atmosphere while classes …are still on going. It was past 6 in the evening when the 2 of them decided to stay briefly on one side of the building to rest when suddenly they noticed a student sneaking out in one of the classroom down the third floor. You can actually see the other side of the building because our school is arranged like a rectangular shoe box. The Principal got mad because there was a teacher inside that she didn’t even noticed that someone got away without her permission. The Principal went down to the room to call the attention of the teacher, it was room 307 by the way if you want to know. The class was cut short and the subject teacher inside was asked why did she not even noticed that someone had managed to sneaked out. The teacher quickly responded that she didn’t noticed someone sneaking out but the Principal didn’t bought it because she saw it with her own two eyes together with her companion. The teacher said that wouldn’t be possible and she can also prove it. The teacher asked the class secretary to check on the attendance so she asked the class to count of, the last student shouted 55 and to their horror saw the attendance written in the blackboard was also 55.

Who would imagine that a person with such a reputation as a chic magnet would be visited by a Tall Dark Curly Haired handsome guy. It’s funny though because I am not accustomed with such an arrangement and I usually had gorgeous ladies as my afternoon visitors but that particular day proved to be something really different for me. I just arrived from my usual Rank C Missions given to me by Master Hokage when I notice someone sitting at my chair atop my designated office. At first I didn’t recognize him with his rugged hairdo and kick ass attire but despite of that complete transformative look, he could not still trick his Sharingan wielding master. I could still see right through his guise because out of that male bravado, you can still sense his soft and gentle nature. I was unsure why the heck is he in my office but after a little chit chat with him, I realized the guy just misses his old school and me of course :) He offered me a cup of coffee at Starbucks at first but I refused the suggestion thinking what would the two of us look like inside the café, one old gay teacher with his boylet student- the very thought of it was unnerving and besides, I have to guard my reputation as an old pervy sage because usually I am the one who brings my bebot students to Starbucks. In order not to dampen his seemingly cheerful frame of mind, I just told him that a simple Nescafe 3 in 1 will do but he didn’t also like the idea. Maybe he was thinking I am underrating his financial capability but I just wanted him not to spend his hard earned money on a simple everyday normal goods such as coffee. Determine to treat me that fine Tuesday afternoon, he made his final alternative of treating me in a well known food establishment famous for their all sort of local delicacies located in Bohol street, he was craving suddenly daw kasi ng Lomi but he ordered a beef mami naman hahaha… I asked him why he wanted to eat there, he said it reminded him of Naruto eating in Ichiraku Ramen Bar. I ordered a simple porridge with lomo by the way if you wanted to know what did I ate pero lugaw with laman yung nasa isip ko nun eh, ewan ko why did Lugaw with laman ended up in my table. As our episode was coming to close, I suddenly realize how fortunate I am that I have a student such as Chuck who never fails to look back and rekindle his old ties from where he came from. This may be boring to read to some of you but I made this Note in honor of my extraordinaire student who is now making his own reputation in UP. Thanks a lot Chuck with the treat and next time try to unite the THREE of us para naman mabuo ang dating Jiraiya Team :)
I remember watching this film when I was still in prep class in St. Vincent Preschool in Baguio City. The year was 1986 and back then, everything seems to be the happiest days of my life and who wouldn’t be happy when you are a child? You do not have to worry about about the bothersome things that keeps you occupied right now and way back then, you believe life is a fantasy adventure and you are the hero in the middle of it. Watching this film again after almost 20 years made me reminisce about the good old days. It made me feel how was it like to be a child once again and how cool is it to believe that magic is real and dragons and mythical creatures do exist. This movie tells us that our life is also a Never Ending Story that everything is possible as long as we believe, as long as we have hope and as long as we hold on to our dreams. This film will rekindle the child in everyone of us and has the power to inspire little children to be strong and never give up no matter how difficult the odds maybe. I highly recommend this wonderful masterpiece to anyone of who haven’t watched it yet.. Just make sure you have napkins with you because it will surely make you cry :) Promise naiyak pa din ako nung napanood ko ito ulet..
